A short, plain explanation of what this website does and does not do with data.
What this site collects
This website has no contact form, no sign-up and no search box. There is nowhere on it to submit a name, a message, patient information or any other free text.
The email links open your own email application with the address pre-filled. Choosing to write is entirely yours, and the message travels through your email provider rather than through this site.
Analytics
This site uses Vercel Web Analytics to count page views. It sets no cookies, does not track you between websites, and does not build a profile of you. It records the page visited, the referring site, and coarse details such as country, browser and device type. Nothing it collects identifies you, and no consent prompt is needed for it.
Cookie-based analytics is switched off. Google Analytics is not loaded and no analytics cookies are set.
If Google Analytics 4 is configured later, it will load only after you have explicitly accepted it. Declining is a complete answer: nothing loads, and you will not be asked repeatedly.
Where analytics is active, only the single choice you made — accepted or declined — is stored in your browser so the question is not repeated. Events are limited to a short, fixed list such as navigation clicks and email interactions, and never include your name, your email address or any free text.
What is stored in your browser
A few small preferences are saved on your own device so the site behaves the way you left it. They stay in your browser, are never sent anywhere, and cannot be read by this site’s author or by any other website.
Your colour theme is remembered until you change it. Whether you asked for reduced motion, and whether the opening animation has already played, are remembered only until you close the tab. Where analytics is configured, the single choice you made about it is remembered as well.
Clearing your browser’s site data for this domain removes all of them, and the site works normally without any of them.
Changing your mind
When analytics is configured, an ‘Analytics preferences’ control appears in the footer of every page so you can change your choice at any time. Clearing your browser’s site data for this domain also clears the stored preference.
Hosting and logs
Like any website, requests reach a hosting provider that may keep short-lived technical logs for security and reliability. That is standard infrastructure behaviour rather than something this site configures.

The portfolio is a public learning resource, not a patient-record system. Curriculum prompts are marked as examples rather than completed work. No identifying patient information belongs in entries or media.
Patient-related material must be anonymised and reviewed before public use, with the necessary consent and institutional permission. Removing names alone does not establish anonymity or permission. Please use the contact email below to raise a concern about anything shown here.
